Mr. Henry’s has been a mainstay of the wonderful Capitol Hill neighborhood since 1966. In 1968, Henry hired a talented local school teacher named Roberta Flack to sing in the pub. “She told me that if I could give her work three nights a week, she could quit teaching,” Henry recalled… She would go on to win four Grammys most famously for “Killing Me Softly”.
