GLEN FLOWERS and the STRANGERS (GFS) play original New Classic Rock, a term Glen coined to describe the music on the band’s debut album, MASTER PLAN, released 2019.

Strong blues and rock influences from Cream, Duane Allman, Pink Floyd, Joe Walsh, Steve Winwood, Blind Wille Johnson, underlie these eight new, guitar-driven songs—written by Glen Flowers.

BANANAS, the new Extended Play (EP), released 29 September 2025, features three amusing, tongue-in-check rockers, supported by two deeper, spiritual songs. One of those is Glen’s arrangement of a Blind Willie Johnson classic—which several other artists have covered, including Led Zeppelin Bob Dylan, and Larkin Poe. The title track is a light-hearted, free-feeling, humorous, story… “The blondes they drive me bananas.”
